Noor Inayat Khan GC
In World War Two, Noor Inayat Khan GC was the first female wireless operator sent by Britain to assist the French resistance in 1943. She was tortured by the Germans but never gave up any secret information.
The Veterans Project run by the National Muslim War Memorial Trust seeks to honour and keep alive the memory of Muslims who have served in Britain’s Armed Forces, by providing a platform where their stories can be heard.
We invite living veterans and the families of those who have served to submit their story for all to see.
